Even as Ajith plans to go on a holiday, a rumour about his next film has surfaced. The actor is reportedly joining hands with leading producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and ace director AR Murugadoss for a biggie.
Indiaglitz reports that Ajith and AR Murugadoss are ready to team up for a film and the credit for bringing them together goes to Udhayanidhi Stalin, who had earlier made "7aum Arivu" with the same director. There are not much updates on the film yet and more details are expected to be out soon.
AR Murugadoss had made his sensational debut with Ajith starrer "Dheena" in 2001. The film had redefined the actor's career and it was from this movie that the star got his pet name "Thala". Since then, they could not collaborate again even though the duo was interested to team up.
Last year, the filmmaker had met the actor post-"Kaththi" success. They reportedly discussed a few scripts. But they could not lock in a script that would reunite them again. Later, AR Murugadoss had clarified that he was keen to work with Thala again, but the actor should take the call on it.
Going by the latest speculation, it appears like AR Murugadoss has finally managed to convince Ajith for a project. But the film cannot take off anytime soon due to their prior committments. While the director has to complete his Bollywood film "Akira" and a bilingual movie with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, the "Mankatha" actor has to do one film each with Siruthai Siva and Vishnuvardhan before starting the proposed flick.
Hence, the rumoured project can only begin in mid-2017. Meanwhile, Ajith, who underwent multiple surgeries a few months ago, will be leaving for London for a holiday with his family.
