Ajith Kumar and Vishnuvardhan, who were part of two hit films before, have developed a good rapport with each other. This seems to be paving way for them to join hands for the third time.
There are some unconfirmed reports on Vishnuvardhan directing Ajith Kumar for the third time. Recently, the director has apparently met the actor and discussed a few ideas that he has in mind for his future project.
It is believed that Vishnuvardhan and Ajith Kumar might team up for a movie next year. Nonetheless, there is no clarity on the film as both have not spoken anything about the possible project. It is a well-known fact that the actor often prefers filmmakers with whom he associated before. Thus this factor gives fillip to the speculations on their possible team-up.
Recently, there were similar rumours on Ajith Kumar joining hands with AR Murugadoss. It was said that the director, who is basking in the success of his hit film "Kaththi" starring Vijay, had met the actor and offered him a movie.
Subsequently, Thala, who had given the break for Murugadoss with "Dheena" in 2001, had reportedly approved the film. But, Ajith Kumar's manager dismissed the news and put the rumours to rest.
However, there is a strong buzz that the actor's next film will be produced by AM Rathnam, who has now produced his latest films "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal".
Vishnuvardhan had directed Ajith Kumar in "Billa", which went on to become a landmark movie. They collaborated again for "Arrambam", which was one of the few hits of 2013.
Currently, Ajith Kumar is busy with "Yennai Arindhaal" directed by Gautham Menon. The movie, which also features Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishnan in the female lead roles, will release for Pongal.
On the other end, Vishnuvardhan is busy with "Yatchan" starring Arya, Kreshna, Deepa Sannidhi and Swathi Reddy.
