The devastating Chennai floods may have wrecked havoc in the city, but it has not taken a toll on the spirits of the people, who cut across all barriers to help each other during the crisis.
Ajith and Vijay fans, who fiercely fight over petty issues at every given opportunity, have come together to stand up for the cause. The online fans have also put aside all their differences and are doing their bit in helping the devastated city.
Instead of fighting with each other, they are now jointly taking on politicians, authorities and media. Any wrongdoing from any political party is being trolled and exposed by them on social media sites. They are concentrating on the work that needs to be done and also spreading important information.
On the ground, the fans of Ajith and Vijay have teamed up to help the needy. In many remote places of Tamil Nadu, they have collected funds from their association and donated for the flood victims.
This gesture has impressed the general audience, who often get irked by their fights. All they hope is that this will be a new chapter and the mutual respect and good relationship will remain forever.
Meanwhile, Ajith and Vijay are doing their bit for the troubled Chennai in their own ways. Thala has accommodated close to 200 people at his residence providing food and shelter, while Ilayathalapathy has donated necessary things to the flood-affected people at his Shoba Kalyana Mandapam in Saligramam.
On the professional front, Ajith is basking in the success of his "Vedalam", which was released for Diwali and Vijay is busy with his next film "Theri" directed by Atlee Kumar.
