Ajith's forthcoming movie has witnessed a new inclusion to its cast. The latest actor to join the film, which is currently being called "Thala 56", is none other than Rahul Dev.
The makers have roped in Rahul Dev to play a key role in the film. As per the buzz, he will be seen in the role of a baddie in "Thala 56". Other details about the role has not been revealed yet.
The cast of "Thala 56" has Lakshmi Menon, Shruti Haasan, Ashwin Kakkammanu and Soori. Menon plays the role of Ajith's sister in the movie.
Shruti Haasan will portray the female lead opposite Ajith. Her character will be glamorous and based in Kolkata. The hero, who plays the role of a taxi driver, will reportedly meet her in Kolkata.
Ashwin Kakkammanu plays a supporting character, probably the ole of Lakshmi Menon's character's boyfriend. Soori, as always, will play the role of a comedian.
Meanwhile, the makers are set for the final phase of the shooting. The last schedule will be shot in Kolkata. The film's unit will kick-off the post-production works immediately after completing the shooting.
On the other hand, the makers are yet to finalise a name for the film. They are expected to announce the title and release a teaser in September. The untitled project has been directed by Siruthai Siva, who had earlier directed Ajith in "Veeram", and produced by AM Rathnam.
"Thala 56" will release for Diwali in November. The audio of the movie is likely to be released in October during Navaratri. The trailer would reportedly be released in the first week of November.
