Ajith Kumar looks to continue his successful salt-and-pepper look in his next film, now referred to as "Thala 57." Rumours about his avatar in the upcoming movie possibly started doing rounds after he was spotted in public a few days ago.
The actor was recently spotted at a private hospital in Chennai. Ajith Kumar sported a casual t-shirt with jeans. It is now reported that the "Mankatha" star is going to retain the same salt-and-pepper look in "Thala 57" too.
It was director Venkat Prabhu, who had come up with the idea of salt-and-pepper look for Ajith in "Mankatha" after taking inspiration from Hollywood actor George Clooney. Since then, the actor has sported the look in a few films and his fans have received it quite well.
With only two weeks left for the commencement of the shooting, it looks like Ajith is going to retain the same look. The shooting will reportedly start in the second week of July. The makers have planned a major schedule in Europe. Anushka Shetty will be a part of the shooting.
Anu Vardhan, who had earlier worked with Ajith in films like "Arrambam" and "Billa," will be designing his costume in "Thala 57." The actor will be doing an urban-centric character in the film and reportedly enacts the character of an FBI agent, say reports.
"Thala 57" is the third movie of Ajith to be directed by Siruthai Siva. They had first collaborated in "Veeram." Following the success of this flick, they teamed up again in "Vedalam," which turned out to be the biggest hit of 2015.
The upcoming movie is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films. It has Anirudh Ravichander's music and Vetri's cinematography.
