Simbu, an ardent fan of Ajith, has got support for the release of of his movie "Vaalu" by none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The "Kaththi" star has come forward to do his bit to the "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa" actor, who is facing trouble in releasing his latest film.
It comes as a sweet gesture by Vijay to support Simbu. The former has reportedly asked a few distributors to ensure "Vaalu" a trouble-free release. He has spoken to Siva, a regular Coimbatore-Tirchy distributor of Vijay films, asking him to support the latest movie of STR.
This is not the first time where Vijay has come forward to do help Simbu. Earlier, the actor had agreed and launched the album of STR's "Osthi". Even though Simbu is a die-hard fan of Ajith, Vijay had no issues to attend the event and this was mentioned by STR.
Coming back to "Vaalu", the movie has been in the making for over three years and has struggled to progress at every stage. When the situation was going nowhere, Simbu's father came forward to release the film by financially supporting the film.
However, troubles persisted for "Vaalu". The film was supposed to be released on 17 July, but was cancelled at the last minute, again due to financial crisis. Now, it seems like all issues have been sorted out as Simbu's father has announced that the movie will be released on 14 August.
With Vijay coming to support "Vaalu", the Tamil movie finally seems set to hit theatres. The movie directed by Vijay Chander features Hansika Motwani in the female lead role.
