After six months of speculation, Beti B's name is officially confirmed. Daddy Abhishek Bachchan has finally announced his baby daughter's name.
Since the day Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter was born she has been known as Beti B, but now she is formally been named "Aaradhya Bachchan."
Earlier in March, TOI reported that the parents had registered their daughter's name as "Aaradhya Bachchan." And this week Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan confirmed the name to The Times of India in an interview.
Now the media and Bachchan's fans has known for quite sometime that the smallest and newest member of the Bachchan family was meant to be called Aaradhya, although it was not officially announced.
However, the media was successful in tracking down both the official name registration and the passport application which was put in for Aaradhya when she visited Dubai with her mother.
But despite all the evidence Bachchans neither officially confirmed the name nor denied it.
Abhishek in an interview reportedly mentioned his daughter name as "Aaradhya." During the interview he discussed how his life had changed after he the birth of his daughter.
"Aaradhya wakes up in the night for her feed and a nappy change. Ash, who's completely clued in, is up in a jiffy. However, I must confess, it took time for me to get used to the new routine. When the baby cried, I woke up too, but couldn't go back to sleep immediately. So Ash suggested that I sleep in another room till such time as Aaradhya was slightly older," he told TOI.
He also revealed how jealous he is when his wife gives all the attention to their daughter. "Ash's day starts and ends with the baby. Since she insists on doing everything for Aaradhya, including giving her a maalish (massage), bathing her and attending to her round-the-clock, I'm now waiting in queue for Ash's attention," he said.
