Speculations over Aishwarya Rai's comeback in films have been on the rise in the past few months.
Earlier, there reports that the former Miss World will make her comeback in Sriram Raghavan's dark thriller opposite "Student of the Year" actor Varun Dhawan. It was followed by reports that she had been approached by Karan Johar for his next production venture "Shuddhi", starring Hrithik Roshan.
Latest buzz is that the actress might do a special number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film "Ram Leela", starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Sanjay is keen to get Aishwarya groove for a special song in his romantic-drama film and the pretty actress is reportedly considering the offer, a source from the film unit was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
She is known to be one of the best dancers in Bollywood. Her great dance moves in some of the songs including "Nimbooda Nimbooda", "Dola Re Dola" and "Kajra Re" have won accolades.
If Asihwarya laps up Sanjay's offer, then it would be the fourth time that she would work with the director. The Bachchan Bahu (Amitabh's daughter-in-law) had been part of some of Sanjay's best films including "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Devdas" and "Guzaarish".
The actress, who is married to Abishek Bachchan, is on a self-imposed sabbatical from films following the birth of her daughter Aaradhya in 2011. But in the past one year, the green-eyed beauty has made appearances with her daughter in various events across the gobe, including this year's Cannes Film festival held in May.
In an interview at Cannes, Aishwarya had hinted that she might make a comeback soon. Some reports even suggested that the actress has zeroed in on a couple of projects offered to her.
However, there is no official word about her comeback in films as well as about the special dance number in "Ram Leela". The film, which is reportedly based on Shakespeare's "Romeo Juliet" love story, is expected to get released in November.
