Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made a comeback to the silver screen after a hiatus of five years this year, has refused to do the lip-locking scene. Karan Johar's next "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" demanded a lip-locking and an intimate scene, but the actress is not comfortable doing it, reports DNA.
According to the report, the script demanded a passionate love-making scene between the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai, but there was some concern about that particular scene when the actress stepped in. Aishwarya is not comfortable shooting these scenes post-marriage and she had informed her director Karan about the same.
Considering his relationship with the Bachchan family, Karan decided to shoot the lip-locking scene in such a way that it would not involve an actual kiss. Also, for the intimate scene, the director will make sure that there is no skin-show by Aishwarya.
"Aishwarya has reached a stage where she wants to do meaty roles. She wants to do roles with substance. Anyway such scenes are better suited to the youngsters. She has done that in the beginning of her career and she doesn't like to be repetitive," DNA quoted a source as saying.
Aishwarya has previously kissed Hrithik Roshan in "Dhoom 2" in 2006, but the actress maintained that she is not comfortable with such scenes.
"I did it once prominently in the movie Dhoom and it was so topical, and you'll be surprised, I mean I actually got a couple of notices, legal notices, from some people in the country turning around and saying "You are iconic, you're an example to our girls you have led your life in such an exemplary manner, they're not comfortable with you doing this on screen so why did you?," she told journalist Sir David Frost in an interview.
