Sanjay Gupta, who is busy shooting for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer "Jazbaa", had to cancel the shoot on Sunday.
According to a report in Mid-Day, some portions of "Jazbaa" was to be shot at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, but it was cancelled at the eleventh hour due the IPL match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIIP) that was played at the venue.
"We were told about it only this afternoon. We were suppose to shoot with Aishwarya and one actor the whole of Sunday,'' Gupta told the daily.
The worried director further expressed his concern: "Most of the location permission are only given to us on Sunday and we have booked the next four locations for the next four Sundays so I really don't know when will we comeback to shoot the same sequence again."
There were reports that the makers of "Jazbaa" are planning to wrap the shoot at the earliest so as to keep it ready for screening at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, which the beauty queen has been attending for a decade now.
But since most to the portions of the film requires shooting in real locations, permission and other such procedure are affecting the shooting schedules.
"Jazbaa" is a female-oriented film and has Aishwarya playing the lead role of a lawyer. She will also be performing some high octane never-seen-before action sequences in the flick. Recently, some leaked pictures from the shoot also made its way to the internet.
The film is a remake of South Korean crime drama "Seven Days" and recent reports suggested that the "Guzaarish" actress will sport a completely different look in the film.
"Jazbaa" also features Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in significant roles, and it will hit the theatres on 9 October, 2015.
