Adult film star-turned-actress Sunny Leone has showered praises on former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Leone in her upcoming "Ek Paheli Leela" has reprised Aishwarya Rai-Salman Khan's "Dholi Taro" song from "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" movie. Leone, who plays the role of exotic princess cum seductress in the film, during a press conference, praised Aishwarya and her dancing and acting skills.
"I don't think there is anybody in the world like Aishwarya Rai. She is a very talented person, and an intelligent woman. She is so great that I hope my dancing skills, acting skills, maybe be half as good as her," Leone said, according to India Today.
Leone was also asked to share her experience about dancing on one of Aishwarya's iconic song. The adult film star-turned-actress told media that she was scared when she first saw the original video.
"I saw the 'dholi taro' video as a reference and I was like, 'Oh my God! How will I do this?' It was intimidating. I think after you see my hard work in this movie, you might put me up another notch," added the Bollywood actress.
The "Ek Paheli Leela" actress shot the song in scorching 48 degree Celsius. The cast and crew worked hard to finish the shooting of the "Dholi Taro" song.
"But we refused to compromise. Dholi taro is an iconic song, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali song, so not even a strand of hair could be out of place. Sunny's personal stylist worked on her wardrobe for over a month before the shoot," Mumbai Mirror quoted choreographer Ahmed Khan as saying.
"Ek Paheli Leela" starring Leone will hit the screens in April this year. The trailer of the film, which was released this month, has gone viral and has crossed 9 million mark on YouTube.
