The production work of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film with director Mani Ratnam might get delayed, according to reports.
The former Miss World is confirmed to make her comeback with Ratnam's directorial film alongside Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna.
The untitled film was expected to go on floors in mid 2014, but the recent reports suggest that the shooting of the flick has been postponed.
The film is still on the pre-production stage and the works are happening in a slow speed, Oneindia reports. The team will probably start the shooting by June or July.
Meanwhile, the makers of the film are yet to officially announce about the film, star casts and schedule.
The untitled film is Bachchan's first film in three years. The Bachchan bahu was on a away from industry after the birth of her daughter Aaradhya in November 2011.
"The film is expected to start by mid 2014 and will be Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's first film post the birth of her daughter Aaradhya. The news was confirmed by a reliable source," Indian Express reported in February.
The film's title has not been decided yet and it is going to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
Apparently, the "Guru" actress will be seen playing a negative role, if everything goes well.
Apart from Bachchan, Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna, the film will reportedly feature Shruti Haasan too. Shruti will be reportedly paired opposite Mahesh Babu. "She is on board now, unless there are some last-minute changes. She will be mostly paired opposite Mahesh Babu," The Times of India reported.
