Rumours on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film have been in news for the last few months.
Latest buzz is that the Bollywood beauty and former Miss World might make Kannada debut with "Manamohaka," which has Shivarajkumar in the lead role.
The makers of the film are reportedly trying to rope in Aishwarya Rai for a special role in the film, according to a report in Times of India. It is not clear whether the Bachchan bahu will be accepting it.
Aishwarya Rai, who is married to Abhishek Bachchan, continued to act in films post her marriage. However, the actress went on a sabbatical after becoming pregnant with her first child in 2011. Aishwarya was expected to make a comeback to films post the birth of her daughter Aaradhya.
However, it appears that the bollywood beauty is not in a hurry to return to the film industry. Aish has been making her presence through TV commercials, but the "Raavan" actress is yet to make her big screen return.
In the last few months, speculations about her comeback film have been gaining momentum. There have been reports of the actress being approached for one project or the other with each passing day. Recently, reports emerged that the former Miss World will make her comeback in a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, directed by Mani Ratnam.
It is being said that the actress will play the lead role along with Telugu actors Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this project. There were also reports that director Vasu has roped in Aish to star in his film titled "Aishwaryavum Aayiram Kaakakalum." But an official statement from the actress's office stated that Aish is yet to confirm the project.
