Cannes Film Festival 2015: Glamorous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Charms the Red Carpet in Ralph & Russo

Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a comeback to the ramp after five long years when she walked the ramp in Manish Malhotra's creation at the Amazon India Fashion Week 2015 Grand Finale on Sunday.

The "Jazbaa" actress captured many hearts as she walked the ramp, despite of ill health. Her awe-inspiring charm stole the show.

However, the designer's collection, titled as 'The Empress Story', was beautifully presented by the models on the ramp. The new collection included lehangas and gowns, which were magnificent in terms of design and detailing.

"I have known him (Manish) from very long . He was with me right from the beginning when I started my journey so it is certainly a proud moment for me to walk for him as a showstopper. I have viral but I had to be here as I always liked his collection. Its so special," Aishwarya told IANS.

The actress was unwell, but she still managed to participate in Manish Malhotra's show. The designer praised the diva and told IANS, "2015 is a very special year for me as it marks 25 years as a costume stylist/director and 10 years of my label 'Manish Malhotra'. What makes it even more special is Aishwarya returned to runway after five years as the showstopper for my show. She is a style icon. She is beautiful and stunning."

Mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan was also present at the event to support her daughter-in-law. Kriti Sanon, Shabana Azmi, wrestler Vijender Singh, and Sophie Choudhry also attended the show.
