Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is on a comeback trail with Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa", has reportedly signed another big project.
The former Miss World is said to have been approached by Karan Johar for his upcoming venture, to which the actress has given her nod.
If the deal with Johar gets sealed, the Bachchan bahu will join the likes of other members of the family including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and husband Abhishek who has been a part of Dharma Productions in the past.
"Aishwarya has never worked with Dharma Productions. She was supposed to do Dostana. But then she felt that the audience would not accept her walking away with another man (Bobby Deol) when Abhishek was courting her in the film," a source told Deccan Chronicle.
Further, there are also reports that Aamir Khan has been approached for the lead role in the film. However, no confirmation has been made yet.
But if Johar succeeds in bringing the two superstars on board a film, it would undoubtedly be a special moment for the viewers to have the Aamir-Aishwarya duo share the screen space, especially as they have never worked together.
"Aamir and Aishwarya have never been together except for one scene in Dharmesh Darshan's 'Mela,'" the source added.
Recently, there were also reports that Aishwarya has teamed up with Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan in an untitled project. With Shetty's film, both Shah Rukh and Aishwarya will reunite after 12 years. They last worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, "Devdas".
Meanwhile, Aishwarya will soon start shooting for her comeback film, "Jazbaa". The film also has Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in important roles.
On the other hand, Aamir is busy promoting his upcoming flick "PK" that has Anushka Sharma as female lead. "PK" is all set to release worldwide on 19 December.
