Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has reportedly pre-recorded a stage performance to avoid an encounter with her ex-boyfriend Vivek Oberoi.
Aishwarya gave a mind-blowing performance at the recently concluded Ponds Femina Miss India 2013 event. But according to a report by Mid-Day, the actress asked the event organisers, who had requested her for a live performance, for the list of celebs who were to perform at the event and subsequently demanded to have her performance pre-recorded.
The report also said that the actress backed off from live performance to avoid meeting Vivek Oberoi who was also to perform at the event. Oberoi, however, gave out a live performance at the event.
Aishwarya's performance at the event, which marked her comeback on stage after a gap of two years, bagged her huge accolades. The 39-year-old actress performed on one of tracks from "Guzaarish", which was her last movie before she took a break from films due to her pregnancy and nursing her daughter Aaradhya . She wore a sparkling outfit and seemed comfortable in performing some complex steps which were choreographed by dance guru Shiamak Davar.
The report of Aishwarya's comeback on stage was much hyped and the actress reportedly lived up to the expectation of the audience with her graceful performance.
But soon after the live telecast of the event, rumours were rife that Aishwarya's performance was pre-recorded as it was noted that the high heel sandals that the actress wore during the first half of the stage show was later replaced by flats strengthing the latest report that the actress would have demanded a pre-record of the event to avoid meeting Oberoi.
Apart from Vivek Oberoi, other celebs who performed live at the event included Priyanka Chopra, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and playback singer Sonu Nigam
Aishwarya was linked with several Bollywood actors like Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi before she got married to super star Big B's son Abhishek Bachchan on 20 April, 2007. The duo will soon be seen performing together for the first time after the birth of Aaradhya at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) in Vancouver on 6 April.
