Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is likely to make her television debut with Star Plus' new reality show, Dil Hai Hindustani. According to reports, the actress has been approached to join the judges' panel.
Others celebrities who have been finalised as judges are Karan Johar, Shekhar Ravjiani, Badshah and Shalmali Kholgade. The producers believe that Aishwarya's presence will add glamour to the show. However, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress is yet to accept the offer.
"The makers are leaving no stone unturned to convince the actress to sign up for the show. She is still mulling over the project. The makers have also requested Karan to put in a word. Chances are she might agree to come on board. If that happens the actress will be joining four celebrity judges in the panel. Her presence will add a distinctive vibe to the show," a source close to the development told Deccan Chronicle.
If Aishwarya agrees to be a part of the reality show, it would indeed be a treat to her fans who would love to watch her on the small screen. The show is expected to start in January, the report added.
Some other Bollywood actresses who have had been part of reality TV shows are Madhuri Dixit Nene, Shilpa Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandes and Malaika Arora Khan.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya's latest film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, has become the beauty queen's first movie to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. The actress' looks and her chemistry with Ranbir was the talk of the town even before the film's release.
