Bollywood has seen a few big comebacks in the year 2015. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Kajol, many returned to the big screens much to their fan's delight.
Here are some of the big comebacks of 2015:
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: The beauty queen made a comeback with thriller-drama "Jazbaa" after a hiatus of five years. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, "Jazbaa" was a woman-centric film and saw Aishwarya playing the role of a lawyer. "Jazbaa" was the former Miss World's first film after entering motherhood.
Kajol: After "My Name is Khan" in 2010, Kajol made a comeback with Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" this year. Her comeback created tremendous buzz as she was paired with Shah Rukh Khan in the film.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol: Undoubtedly the biggest comeback of the year is the iconic jodi of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, who charmed all with their sizzling chemistry in "Dilwale". The last time SRK-Kajol scorched the big screens was in "My Name Is Khan" (2010).
Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya: The friends-turned-foes-turned-friends made news when they teamed up for "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" after a gap of 16 long years. The actor-director duo last worked together in the 1999 release "Hum Saath Saath Hain".
Asin: The actress returned to the silver screen with Abhishek Bachchan starrer "All is Well". Asin was last seen in "Khiladi 786" (2012).
Sushmita Sen: The beauty queen, who was away from films after 2010 released "No Problem", made her Bengali film debut this year in National Award-winning director Srijit Mukherji's "Nirbaak". The former Miss Universe received critical acclaim for her performance in the film.
Shiny Ahuja: The "Gangster" actor, who was convicted and jailed for raping his maid in 2009, made a comeback in Bollywood this year with Anees Bazmee's "Welcome Back".
