Rumour mills have been buzzing again with news that celebrity couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her spouse Abhishek have moved to their new residence in Mumbai.

Not so long ago, there were reports that Aishwarya wants to move out of the Bachchan home as she was not happy with her mother-in-law Jaya. But Abhishek denied the reports and said it was all rubbish. [Read the report here]

Reports have again been doing the rounds that the couple along with their daughter Aaradhya shifted to their new residence Naivedya on Carter Road, Mumbai.

"Apparently, Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan have moved out of Jalsa and have shifted to their new apartment at Naivedya on Carter Road. The couple moved to their new abode on the eve of New Year itself," The Free Press Journal reported.

The website also said that the actual cause of shifting is rift between Aishwarya's mother, Vrinda Rai and Jaya.

The website reported that the couple shifted to Naivedya on New Year's Eve. But that is quite unlikely since Aishwarya along with the family including sister-in-law Shewta Nanda was in Dubai to ring in the New Year together.

Also, when they returned from Dubai Big B and Abhishek announced on Twitter that they are "back home".

"Back home, back to work, thank you One&Only Dubai for such a memorable new year," Abhishek posted on Twitter.

"Everyone back home .. kids, little one, all .. such a joy to hear the sound of pitter patter about the house," Big B said.

 Also, Daily Bhaskar had reported that the Naivedya located on Carter Road is owned by a builder who is a close friend of the Bachchans. The bungalow is an investment by the builder.

"The Bungalow is an investment of the builder (which is also used for holidaying and partying by the Bachchans) and Abhishek and Aishwarya are still residing in Jalsa," Daily Bhaskar reported.

In 2009, there were reports saying that Amitabh had agreed to Abhishek and Aishwarya moving out of their residence "Jalsa".

However, the reports were slammed by Aishwarya who told TOI, "I'm clueless about its origin. It's strange how people jump to conclusions. Once when I visited my father in hospital, the buzz was that I was going for a check-up to the maternity ward! Abhishek and I are at home in Jalsa."
