Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a house party and invited Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The star-studded affair was held on June 18 and speculations were rife that the director threw a bash for the positive response he received from his recent column.

Karan has recently won hearts with his write up titled "Dear Trolls, You Don't Get Me, Never Will" and it was published by NDTV. Several Bollywood celebs including Alia, SRK and Anushka Sharma appreciated the "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" director's column on social media.

Karan talked about how he was trolled for putting selfies on social media and was called "gay" many times. "Dear Troller, here's what am I saying to you: You're probably as unattractive as you seem to think me. You probably hate my selfies, because you don't love what you see in your's. You obviously have no job! And your solution to life's frustrations is to take it out on me (and a few unlucky others). And now that we have the pleasantries out of the way, I want to tell you that you don't actually disturb me any more. What would disturb me was if I allowed you the smallest amount of influence over my life," he wrote in his column.

Meanwhile, Karan hosted a big bash at his residence and when it's KJo's party, celebs will definitely not miss it. The filmmaker has a good relation with most of the celebrities in the industry and he is known for throwing amazing house parties for his B-Town friends. Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha, Abhishek Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh were among the celebs who attended the bash.
