The youngest member of the Bachchan family Aaradhya has carried the genes from her parents Abhishek and Aishwarya and is growing tall compared to other children of her age.
Being the daughter of Aishwarya Rai, who is 5'7'' tall and father Abhishek who is 6'2'' and grandfather Big B at 6'3'', no wonder the kid has long legs.
Sr Bachchan too agreed that the youngest member of the family, soon turning three on 16 November, has been turning heads due to her height. Big B mentioned in his official blog that grandchildren often inherit qualities of their grandfather. Even his daughter Shweta Nanda has inherited qualities from her grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
"Grandchildren often are known to possess qualities of their Grandfather .. or so they say .. and there are several examples of this truth," Big B wrote on his official blog.
"My parents were not too tall .. they were of average height, but my Mother's Father, Sardar Khazan Singh Suri was a six footer, tall and elegant .. those genes have survived the next generation and the next after ..both Abhishek and I are tall at 6'2" and 6'3" .. and from what it looks like the little one Aaradhya is keeping up the tradition ... or shall we say 'gene ration' ."
Big B further reveals: "Though separately written 'gene ration' when joined does become 'generation' .. and I wonder if the word was derived thus..Anyway ... we drift away .. qualities of the 'grand' percolate to the next gens".
