Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is back with a power packed performance with his upcoming film "Airlift".
After "D-Day" and "Baby", the makers have once again roped in Akshay for their next release which will hit theatres on 22 January, 2016.
While we will have to wait for the movie for some more time, the teaser of the film was released today. In the teaser, Akshay portrays the character of a powerful Indian businessman, Ranjit Katyal, who resides in Kuwait and does not consider himself as Indian. The film's poster was released on Monday.
The film's plot revolves around the arduous task of evacuating 1.70 lakh refugees in 488 flights over a span of 59 days by one man. Akshay plays the role of that one man. The evacuation process, which was carried out during the Iraq-Kuwait war of 1990, was so large and precise that it has also won a Guinness World Record for India.

Akshay was highly praised for his performance in "Baby" and it appears the actor is ready to offer another power-packed performance.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by Bhushan Kumar, "Airlift" also features Nimrat Kaur as the female lead.
