Yes, you read it right. Aircel has announced a massive cut in iPhone 3GS price for its postpaid customers. The service provider offers iPhone 3GS for Rs 9,999, which is currently priced at over RS 20,000.
Meanwhile, the buyers have to pay an advance rental charge of Rs 3000, which offers an unlimited data usage plan for a whole year. Under this advanced renal scheme, subscribers are entitled for 2GB of data usage at 3G speeds in 3G circles, besides unlimited 3G data for a year.
With Aircel's iPhone offer also joins the budget phone category. The price of an iPhone is one of the prime elements which kept majority of samrtphone buyers away from it. Thus iPhone 3GS become first Apple's mobile devices to be available below Rs 10,000.
