Air Asia Berhad, Malaysia's low-cost airline is offering 'fly like a superstar' discount on air fares. The promotional offer includes one-way ticket price of Rs. 786 to domestic destinations across India, which would be connected by AirAsia India.
The domestic destinations flight would either be departing from Bengaluru or New Delhi, the Financial Express reported. The 'fly like a superstar' promotional offer is open for booking between June 27 and July 3, 2016 for travel between February 1 to April 30, 2017. Passengers can book their tickets through the airline's website or AirAsia's mobile app.
The low fares are not restricted to India, but are also available for other International destinations such as Auckland, Mauritius, Guangzhou, Krabi Islands, Ho Chi Minh City, Siam Reap, Penang and other cities, prices for which begin at Rs. 2,999 one way.
Earlier this month, AirAsia India offered discounted airfares, starting at Rs. 899 one way. The limited-period scheme was valid from June 13 to 19. The airline in June completed two years of its India operations, and offered the discounted airfares to mark the occasion. Passengers could book their tickets for 10 domestic destinations and 120 international destinations, which are operated by the AirAsia group.
For the month of May, AirAsia India, in which the Tata Group has a stake, improved its market share to 2.2 percent from 2.1 percent recorded in the previous month.
