Shraddha Kapoor's tough demeanour on the posters of "Baaghi" has impressed her fans and co-star Tiger Shroff, but there's another person who's quite taken by what the leading lady can do. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala was floored when he saw the petite actress trade blows and throw punches in the film.
"When Sajid saw the rushes, he was very happy with the way Shraddha carried off the action sequences in the film. Glimpses of it will be seen in the trailer, which will be released March 14," a source in the know told Indo-Asian News Service.
After providing viewers with a rough idea of what they can expect from the Sabbir Khan directorial, its makers have let out another interesting piece of news. Sunil Grover aka Guthhi of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" will star in the film, and it isn't a cameo. The actor-comedian told the Press Trust of India he was enjoying the phase but it was also very taxing.
Tiger, who has been showing off his drool-worthy torso in the sneak peeks, will also display some crazy fight moves in the film. He mastered Kalaripayattu — the martial art from Kerala — for the role, and it wasn't a cake-walk. "I underwent extensive training in Kalaripayattu before we started to shoot, as the martial art form is an important part of the film. It was a thoroughly enriching experience," he told IANS.
Meanwhile, Shraddha isn't only picking fights in the film. She will be setting the screen on fire with her teal swimwear. This is the first time she will be seen in this sultry avatar.
"Baaghi" is scheduled to be released April 29.
