In 2014, the "Agents of Shield" storyline got a major boost thanks to its connection with "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." The TV series played out the events after what happened in the film, and fans were thrilled. It looks like the makers are looking at another major tie-in as the Season 3 finale of the Marvel series coincides with the release of "Captain America: Civil War."
According to the official synopsis for "Agents of Shield" Season 3 episode 20 titled "Emancipation," the show will end amid the aftermath of "Civil War." Check out the description below:
"With only two episodes left before S.H.I.E.L.D. loses one of their own, Daisy's prophecy ticks closer towards a major loss, as the aftermath of the events of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War force S.H.I.E.L.D. to register the Inhumans."
Guest starring Axle Whitehead as James, John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe, Natalie Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Trevor Torseth as Pete Boggs, Jean Paul San Pedro as Jackson, Courtney Friel as newscaster and Jason Sweat as recruit #1, "Emancipation" airs at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 10, on ABC.
Meanwhile, fans are now one step closer to finding out who the Fallen Agent will be, ComicBookMovie reported. The Kree returned in episode 19 of "Agents of Shield" and the promo for the upcoming, penultimate episode seems to show the villain and his Inhuman recruits destroying members of the Watchdog group, as Coulson and team try to come up with their game plan.
