A woman named Lauren has recently shared her near-death experience (NDE) on the NDERF (Near Death Experience Research Foundation) website, and it is now the hottest debating point among spiritualists and medical experts. In the recently shared testimonial, Lauren reveals the magical experience she felt during the NDE caused due to an unexpected cardiac arrest.
Lauren shares her heavenly experience
As per Lauren, she reached a hauntingly, magical wooded area during the near-death experience. The NDE victim also revealed that the visuals she saw were completely refreshing.
"I was walking through a hauntingly, magical wooded area. It was an old-growth forest with trees so tall and thin that their scant canopies reached up to the heavens so it seemed. Their trunks were narrow, smooth, light and refreshing. Their leaves were green with just a hint of fall coloring. There were giant birch trees, but in a forest, I'd never before seen or visited in real life. It was a completely foreign world. It was quite possibly the farthest I've ever traveled and yet I have no real way of measuring the distance," wrote Lauren on the NDERF website.
Similar to the testimonials shared by other NDE victims, Lauren also claimed to have seen bright lights coming from all around. Lauren wrote that the colors she saw during the near-death experience were otherworldly, and made it clear that everything she saw was covered with a golden glow.
Lauren also added that the silence she felt during the near-death experience was liberating. The surface of the earth that Lauren saw during the experience was apparently carpeted with a bed of soft leaves, somewhere between green and goldish-red in color. According to Lauren, she felt total calm, total oneness and total peace during the near-death experience.
In a questionnaire answered, Lauren, talked about the alertness and consciousness she felt during the near-death experience.
"More consciousness and alertness than normal. I felt completely one with everything and completely awake. I was mindful of every leaf falling, every footstep, and every visual sensation as though I'd gone from black and white into a technicolor world. Since that experience, I've learned that my experience is how many people describe moments of enlightenment," added Lauren.
What is the reality behind near-death experiences?
Even though spiritualists consider near-death experience as an irrefutable proof of an afterlife, medical experts argue that there is nothing like life after death. As per medical experts, NDE victims may encounter a variety of sensations including detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, total serenity, security, warmth and utmost calmness during life-threatening events.
Medical experts reveal that during life-threatening events, the human brain will be deprived of oxygen, and at these times, the brain will adopt a survival technique which is actually resulting in these visual hallucinations.
The new revelation from Lauren came just a few days after another woman named Cathy claimed to have heard beautiful music during a near-death experience.
