Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has mesmerised everyone with her brilliant performances last year in "Piku" and "Bajirao Mastani." Now, she is set to rule Hollywood as well with Vin Diesel's "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." She is also rumoured to have signed a film opposite Brad Pitt.
Rumour has it that Deepika has bagged the lead role opposite Pitt in a Hollywood romantic comedy. "After hearing the rumours, we tried contacting her (Deepika) but due to her hectic schedule and time difference between Canada and India (10.5 hours), she has not been able to revert. If it's true, Bollywood will surely be proud of her," a source told Mid-Day.
Whether Deepika has signed another Hollywood project or not, only time will tell, but the fans in India would want her to do films in Bollywood as well. As of now, the actress has not signed any Hindi film.
"Quantico" actress Priyanka Chopra, who is extremely popular in Bollywood, also hasn't signed any Bollywood flick, but will be seen in Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron's "Baywatch." However, her Bollywood film "Jai Gangaajal" will be released on March 4. Due to her busy schedule, the actress has not been able to promote the flick in India.
On the other hand, Deepika is also busy shooting for "xXx." Several pictures of her with the international stars have been doing the rounds on social media. In fact, "The Vampire Diaries" fame actress Nina Dobrev, who is sharing screen space with Deepika in this flick, called the "Bajirao Mastani" actress stunning on Twitter.
Earlier this month, photos and videos of Deepika working out in a gym had gone viral on social media, and these videos not only stunned her fans, but also surprised her co-star Ruby Rose. She told a fan on Twitter that Deepika was freaking her out with these fitness videos.
"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is an action film directed by Caruso. The film is a sequel to the 2002 film "xXx" and features Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Donnie Yen, Deepika, Rose and Dobrev in pivotal roles.
