It seems like the recent Super Singer 6 has opened a new world of opportunities for young singers. After Senthil Ganesh, who won the trophy, bagged a few projects, it is now the turn of Sreekanth Hariharan, who has sung a song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
He has lent his voice for a movie called Genius, directed by Suseenthiran. Sharing his excitement, he recently posted, "Feel immensely happy and grateful to have received this opportunity to be part of the movie #Genius by Suseenthiran Nallusamy sir and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja sir! And how blessed is it to be part of a song penned by the legend #Vairamuthu sir! [sic]"
However, he did not forget to thank Vijay TV for giving him an opportunity to sing in the competition. "Thank you so much Suseenthiran sir and the entire team for this blessed first opportunity. It feels special to get such a start right after the show and again and again, thank you #SuperSinger team for all that you've been ❤️ Prayers.[sic]" he claimed.
Apart from this movie, AR Rahman has already offered him to sing in his one of his future projects.
Sreekanth comes from a family of singers - mother B Arundhati is a classical vocalist and sister Charu Hariharan is a singer and lyricist.
He was one among the six finalists in Super Singer 6. On ther other hand, the winner Senthil Ganesh will also sing a song for AR Rahman's next project and recently lent his voice for Suriya and Sivakarthikeyan's movie each.
