Salman Khan's next with Kabir Khan, which has reportedly been titled "Tubelight," may see Anushka Sharma as the superstar's leading lady. Earlier, there were reports of Deepika Padukone being finalised for the role.
According to a Catch News report, Anushka is in talks with Kabir about the role. If she is roped in, this will be her second film with Salman. In "Sultan," Anushka plays Aarfa, a Haryana-based wrestler who is Sultan Ali Khan's (Salman) love interest.
Meanwhile, there have been quite a few updates on Kabir's film. Salman Khan Films COO Amar Butala told the web portal the lead actress would be announced in July, the month in which the film rolls, adding that it would be shot extensively in Ladakh.
"We go on floors in Ladakh in July 2016, which is two months from now, post the release of Sultan. We are still working on the locations where the film will be shot, but all I can tell you is the fact that we start in Ladakh," the portal quoted him as saying.
Scheduled for an Eid 2015 release, this is the superstar's third film with Kabir after "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," both of which were announced blockbusters.
In other news, Salman and Anushka's fresh pairing in "Sultan" has got everyone talking, and with the teasers out, fans can barely contain their excitement for the film. The Ali Abbas Zafar film, which arrives in theatres on Eid, focuses on Sultan Ali Khan's (Salman) struggles in life and the ring.
