New elements are being added to multilingual movie "Baahubali 2" to make it bigger and better. Recently, it was learnt that Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep would play a role in the flick, and now, Tamil star Suriya would also reportedly be part of SS Rajamouli's flick.
Rumours are rife that Suriya is playing a role in "Baahubali". Recently, it was speculated that SS Rajamouli was planning a bilingual movie. Now, it turns out that the director is not game for a new project, and would rather cast the "Ghajini" star in his "Baahubali 2".
It does not come as a surprise as SS Rajamouli has roped in Kiccha Sudeep to play a role in his "Baahubali" and is also planning to expand his role in its sequel. So, one can expect the filmmaker to do the same with Suriya, though he is not part of the first instalment.
It may be recalled that Suriya had expressed his wish to work with SS Rajamouli recently at the audio launch function of "Baahubali". We should also note that its Tamil Nadu distribution rights is with K Gnanvelraja, the cousin of the actor.
A few weeks ago, Kiccha Sudeep had given a hint about his character in "Baahubali 2". He has done a small role in the first instalment and as per his assumption, his role was being extended in the second part too.
"Baahubali", which is made with the budget of ₹175 crore, is a forthcoming multilingual movie that stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamanna Bhatia. It is a war-fiction written by SS Rajamouli's father S Vijayendra Prasad and jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
It has MM Keeravani's music, KK Senthil Kumar's cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's editing. Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan, Tanikella Bharani and others are also part of the cast.
