Akshay Kumar has been riding high with the success of "Rustom." The film has been making wonderful box office collection and trade experts suggest that the positive response received by "Rustom" will help Akshay's upcoming movie, "Jolly LLB 2."
Akshay will be seen in the character of a lawyer in "Jolly LLB" sequel that is slated to be released on Feb. 10, 2017. "Rustom" happens to be Akshay's third consecutive hit in 2016, after "Airlift" and "Housefull 3."
With back to back hits this year and his latest release "Rustom" likely to become the highest grossing movie of Akshay in 2016, it is being assumed that "Jolly LLB 2" will benefit from the crime thriller's box office records. Craze for "Rustom" had increased ever since its powerful trailer was released. Thus, trailers play an important role in creating hype around a film and "Jolly LLB 2" is expected to have a massive opening at the box office if its trailer turns out to be impressive.
"#Rustom success will spice up #JollyLLB2 release... only trailer needs to b intresting.... [sic]," tweeted trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal. "Rustom" enjoyed great word of mouth and that helped the movie shine at the box office despite having a clash with Hrithik Roshan big budget movie "Mohenjo Daro."
Akshay had revealed his look in "Jolly LLB 2" some time back that had shown him dressed as a lawyer and sporting a moustache. It was reported that Akshay would get Rs. 1 crore per day till the shooting of the film was wrapped up. The makers of the sequel have planned to finish shooting for the film by 40 to 45 days by which the actor would walk away with whopping amount of Rs. 40 to Rs. 45 crore.
