A few weeks after "Alone" actor Karan Singh Grover announced the end of two-year-old marriage with Jennifer Winget on Twitter; reports have emerged that his ex-wife is dating "Saraswatichandra" co-star Gautam Rode.
"They have worked together in Saraswatichandra in which they played a couple. They became close friends on the sets. Gautam recently invited her for his show launch and when she came, she couldn't stop talking about his look and work," Mid Day quoted an insider from launch of Rode's new show "Mahakumbh" as saying.
This information comes across as contradictory as Gautam had reportedly mentioned, earlier this year, that he doesn't share a great friendship with Jennifer adding that he likes to keep things professional.
But if both didn't share a great chemistry off-screen why would they meet each other even publicly? Well, the answer to this question is best known to the TV actors.
"Jennifer also attended a party after Mahakumbh's first episode was screened. She stayed close to him and they both seemed very comfortable in each other's company," revealed another source.
However, both have rubbished rumours saying all of it was a professional move. While Gautam said they were 'just' friends, Jennifer thought the rumour was baseless.
"This is the most preposterous thing that I have heard. I was present at 'Mahakhumb' launch party, courtesy the producer's (Arvind Babbal) invitation," she told Mid Day.
Karan, interestingly, when he was married to the gorgeous actress, said he wasn't okay with the romantic scenes she shared with Gautam in their daily soap "Saraswatichandra". Coming across as possessive, the dishy actor reportedly said he wasn't comfortable with anyone getting closer to his then wife, adding that he would never want to have any memory of such happenings as it keeps his sanity in check.
