Tamil actor Siddharth had earlier revealed about his association with Dileep's upcoming Malayalam movie "Kammara Sambhavam," which marks his Mollywood debut. Now the latest we hear from the industry is that Tamil actress Tamannaah Bhatia is also set to make her acting debut in Mollywood with the Dileep-starrer.
"Tamannaah has been verbally confirmed and she's expected to sign on the dotted line very soon. The project will mark her Malayalam debut and the makers are planning to get her to dub her own lines in the language," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
It has to be noted that the movie's director Rathish Ambat, who has earlier worked with the "milk beauty" for an advertisement, has since been in touch with the actress. "When Rateesh shared a few lines of his story, Tamannaah immediately expressed her interest because she's been planning to work in the Malayalam industry for a long time," the source added.
If the latest news turns true, "Kammara Sambhavam" will mark the Mollywood debut of the two popular Tamil actors. "My first #Malayalam film #kammarasambavam started filming today with the venerable Dileep. I join later. Excited! [sic]," Siddharth, who will soon join the team of his first Malayalam movie, tweeted on Thursday while sharing the film's poster. The "Boys" actor had earlier announced that he will dub in Malayalam for his role.
The Dileep-starrer has started rolling on Thursday, Aug. 18, and the popular actor wrote: "My new movie Kammara Sambhavam starts rolling today. Here is the title design :)" while sharing the first-look poster of the movie on his Facebook page. Actor Murali Gopy has penned the script of "Kammara Sambhavam," which is expected to be a comedy entertainer. It is being produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.
