After his commendable performance in Bollywood movie "Shamitabh" that was released on 6 February, Dhanush is now set for the release of his Tamil movie "Anegan" on 13 February.
"Anegan" directed by KV Anand is touted as a romantic thriller film. The trailer and the songs of the film were released earlier had received overwhelming response.
The movie will have 400 screens in Tamil Nadu alone and more than 1,000 screens – excluding the Hindi versions – in 'rest of India'.
Meanwhile, the promotions of the upcoming thriller are on at a full swing. Dhanush and the rest of the movie's crew visited Kerala on Sunday as part of the promotional campaign.
Considering the importance of Kerala market for Tamil movies in recent times, the promotion in the state is not surprising.
"Back in chennai after a great day of promotions for #anegan in kerala :) exciting events Tom. Will keep updating :)," tweeted Dhanush.
His fans have started a special campaign online, posting common display picture of "Anegan". An overwhelmed Dhanush thanked his fans for their gesture, on his Twitter handle.
"My sincere thanks to my fans for this common DP. It's your, love,encouragement and support that keeps me going :)," wrote Dhanush.
"Anegan' has raised lot of expectations from Dhanush who will be seen in four different looks in the movie. The trailers hint that the movie revolves around love, romance, revenge, fantasy and imagination.
Meanwhile, his latest flick "Shamitabh" in which he shares screenspace with Amitabh Bachchan, has opened to high positive reviews. The movie, directed by R Balki is doing well at the box office and set to become a block buster success.
"Anegan" has a star cast that includes Amyra Dastur, Karthik, Aishwarya Devan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Tiwari, Vinaya Prasad and Arul Vijay.
