Actress Sai Pallavi is just two-movies old, but she has become a household name for her debut performance in Nivin Pauly's blockbuster romantic entertainer Premam. Following the path of Sai, her sister Pooja Kannan, is also making her acting debut with a Tamil short film.
The upcoming short film, titled Kaara, stars Pooja riding a motorcycle in a tomboyish avatar. Sai unveiled the first-look posters of the project and in the poster launch video released by Electron Media port on YouTube, Sai is seen excited to see the posters featuring her sister.
The short film also stars Kathir, Vishnu Priya, Jeevitha Rajendran, Visweshwaram, Karthick Gonsalvas, Naveen Roshan, Manoj Kumar, Saranavan, Rehana Khan, Ranjitha, Dhivya Sreenivasan, Anand and Gowtham in significant roles. Kaara is being scripted and directed by Ajith, while Kamalesh has handled the cinematography.
Ever since Sai started garnering amazing response from the audience in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Pooja also became a familiar face for the movie-goers as she had always accompanied her sister for the star-studded functions. Few photos of the duo were also shared on the Facebook page of the actress that had gone viral on social media.
On the acting career front, Sai, who was last paired opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Kali, is set to make her acting debut in Telugu with Sekar Kammula's upcoming movie Fidaa.
