Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has found himself in another controversy. The acclaimed director was recently fired from Marvel Cinematic Universe over old tweets that included child rape, holocaust, and pedophilia. Recently, few old pictures have surfaced online that show Gunn allegedly at a pedophilia-themed party.
Back in July this year, James Gunn was fired from Disney over his former controversial tweets. Many have found his tweets to be distasteful while some tweets were simply offensive to everyone. As reported by Business Insider, one of his jokes read "The Expendables was so manly I f**ed the s**t out of the little p***y boy next to me! The boys ARE back in town!" While his other tweet read as "I'm doing a big Hollywood film adaptation of The Giving Tree with a happy ending — the tree grows back and gives the kid a blow job."
After the old tweets surfaced, Walt Disney Co. Chairman Alan Horn released a statement citing that this kind of offensive behaviour is unacceptable and his Twitter feed is inconsistent with Disney's values.
That being said, there were multiple reports suggesting that Disney was planning on bringing back Gunn after the pressure from Marvel Studios. There were several celebrities who have shown their disdain towards the studio's decision of firing Gunn. The star cast of Guardians of the Galaxy even wrote an open letter in James Gunn's support.
But it looks like the trouble is not over for James Gunn and his well-wishers. Several photos have now been found on Gunn's personal blog at a pedophilia-themed costume party based on the NBC program, To Catch a Predator — a show that allegedly caught sexual predators who have arranged to have sex with young children.
In one of the released pictures, James Gunn is seen dressed up as a Catholic priest, posing with two women who are dressed as children. One of the women in the picture looks like she is about to cry as she holds her juice box. Another photo showed Gunn dressed as the same priest, standing next to a woman sucking her thumb in a childish way.

It is not clear what James Gunn will have to say about these pictures. When his offensive tweets surfaced, he issued a formal apology in which he stated he has regretted his previous actions and those tweets do not reflect the person he is today. As of now, James Gunn and his represntatives have not issued any statement regarding these recent pictures.
