After blockbuster Malayalam film "Premam" created numerous records at the worldwide box office, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of director Alphonse Puthren's upcoming movie. If the latest reports are to be believed, Alphonse might join hands with "Yennai Arindhaal"-fame actor Arun Vijay for his upcoming project.
With many online news portals reporting about the director's meeting with the actor recently, rumours are rife that there are chances of them working together in the near future. However, since the actor and the director haven't come forward to clarify the news, the piece of information remains just a rumour as of now.
Arun's performance as a baddie in Gautham Vasudev Menon's directorial venture "Yennai Arindhaal" received an overwhelming response from the audience. In the Thala Ajith starrer, Arun was seen portraying the character of Victor, who was involved in gang wars, drug mafia and organ trafficking and it was one of the most challenging roles in his acting career.
Arun also has Tamil action masala film "Vaa Deal" and Kannada movie "Chakravyuha" in his kitty.
Meanwhile, Alphonse's "Premam" starring Nivin Pauly, Anupama Parameshwaran, Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles, has been well accepted by the Tamil Nadu audience and the film has already completed 200 days of its theatrical run at Sathyam Cinemas Multiplex in Chennai. The director's previous bilingual movie "Neram", starring Nivin and Nazriya Nazim was also a commericially successful movie in Tamil Nadu.
