The makers of Telugu film "Baahubali" have released a making-of video as a special gift for Rana Daggubati, who is celebrating his birthday today (14 December).
The small video shows Rana undergoing rigorous training to play the role of Bhallala Deva in the epic drama film "Baahubali" ("Mahabali" in Tamil).
This is the third such making-of video released by the makers of the film. Earlier, two small videos, each introducing the main actors Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, were posted on the video-sharing site YouTube, when they celebrated their birthdays.
Both the videos received massive response from the audience. The new one featuring Rana is also expected to impress the actor's fans.
Directed by Rajamouli of "Eega" fame, "Baahubali" is touted to be the most expensive Telugu film being made. The film has Prabhas playing the title role, while Anushka's character is named Devasena.
Expectations are high for the film as it is directed by Rajamouli, who has 100 percent hit record so far. Rajamouli directorial have all turned out to be big hits. His last release "Eega" in particular received amazing response in all languages that the film released including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Sudeep starrer has won several awards and honours at prestigious award functions and festivals. This has increased the expectations for "Baahubali", which is reportedly being made on a budget of over ₹100 crore.
The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Its music is composed by M M Keeravaani and editing is done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Stunts are handled by Peter Hein, while Srinivas Mohan is the VFX Supervisor.
"Baahubali" is all set to hit screens in 2015.
