After much anticipation, HMD Global finally launched Nokia 6.1 Plus aka Nokia X6 in India earlier this week, and rumours about its successor are already surfacing online. Nokia X7 is now building fans' anticipation, especially after seeing how popular Nokia X6 has been in India and China.
Nokia X7's display panel has been spotted online, which confirm the presence of a notch as we've seen in the Nokia X6. The report by Vtechgraphy suggests the leaked information could be for the Nokia Phoenix smartphone that is expected to be launched later this year.
The report also stated that the handset is being manufactured by Foxconn, which could mean the official launch is bound to happen sooner than later.
As per the leaked display panel belonging to Nokia X7, the screen appears to be bigger than its predecessor measuring more than 6 inches with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Earlier rumours about the Nokia Phoenix smartphone perfectly fit the description in this case.
Based on that, Nokia X7 could sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor paired with 4GBR AM and 64GB onbaord storage. Nokia will leverage its partnership with Zeiss and bring Zeiss-branded lenses in the Nokia X7 as well.
Like Nokia X6, Nokia X7 will be a part of Google's Android One programme, which guarantees quick software updates and stock UI. Finally, the report also suggests the phone's price to be ¥2,000 (around Rs 20,400).
Other details about the phone's camera and battery are not available right now. But we know the Nokia X7 will first launch in China followed by India's release. Nokia X7 will be launched as Nokia 7.1 Plus in India, following the same trend as Nokia X6.
