Sushant Singh Rajput is on cloud nine with the success of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Now, the actor has signed another biopic for his next movie.
After the biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sushant's upcoming movie will be on the life of physically disabled Indian Army man-turned-sportsperson Murlikant Petkar.
"The minute I heard this story, I was on. I wanted to do it without a second thought. What an inspiring story," Sushant told The Asian Age.
"After playing Dhoni, I am looking forward to playing Petkar, who never allowed his physical hurdles to stand in the way of his dreams. I like playing characters who dream big," he added.
Murlikant had won a gold medal at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and at the 1972 Paralympics in Germany. Sushant has won all-round appreciation for his performance in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
The actor did a lot of preparation for the role that can be judged by the way he mastered the "helicopter shot." The biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni has had a wonderful start at the box office and is still running strong.
The Neeraj Pandey directorial has remained more or less unaffected despite the release of a few Bollywood movies, including Harshvardhan Kapoor's debut film Mirzya.
