After tasting success on television, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has achieved success within a few years of his entry into the film industry. Now, rumour has it that filmmaker Homi Adajania has roped in Sushant for his next film, in which the actor plays the role of a rockstar.
After Ranbir Kapoor, Sushant is set to capture hearts in a rockstar look on the big screen. "Sushant plays a rockstar in the film. So his look also will be totally different from what we have seen him in," DNA quoted a source as saying.
The source further said that Homi's directorial is a romantic film, which is supposed to go on floors later this year. Sushant is currently busy with "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" and "Raabta," so he is expected to start shooting his next film after completing these two.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the MS Dhoni biopic, which is scheduled to be released on Sept. 2. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film also features Kiara Advani as Dhoni's wife Sakshi. On the other hand, in Dinesh Vijan's "Raabta," Sushant shares screen space with Kriti Sanon and the film is a love story.
Meanwhile, Sushant has been making headlines over his wedding plans with long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. The duo has been in a relationship since they started acting together in television serial "Pavitra Rishta."
The buzz is that Sushant and Ankita will tie the knot in December. "Yes we will be getting married in December this year," The Times of India quoted Sushant as saying.
News of Sushant and Ankita's wedding have been doing the rounds since 2011, when the actor proposed to her on national television during reality dance show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4".
