Hrithik Roshan is likely to be seen in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's popular film "Shahenshah." Reports suggest that the actor will play the lead role in the remake of the 1988 movie.
Hrithik has two upcoming movies – "Mohenjo Daro" and "Kaabil." Now a report on Mid-Day says that Amitabh's "Shahenshah" will have a remake with Hrithik playing the lead role. However, there is no confirmed report on "Shahenshah" on being remade and Hrithik being a part of it.
Hrithik is currently in news for his next film "Mohenjo Daro" that is touted to be one of the most expensive Bollywood movies. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the period drama is set in the backdrop of Indus Valley civilisation.
The movie "Mohenjo Daro" also features Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi. The trailer of the film had received mixed response from the audience. Some had praised the trailer while a section of the audience criticised the director for the alleged wrong portrayal of the ancient civilisation.
After "Mohenjo Daro," Hrithik has another much awaited project "Kaabil." Produced by Rakesh Roshan, "Kaabil" will reportedly present the actor playing the character of a blind man. It also features Yami Gautam.
While "Mohenjo Daro" is slated to have a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's "Rustom" in Aug. 12, 2016, "Kaabil" is expected to be released alongside Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" in January next year. However, recent reports had suggested that SRK has decided to shift release date of "Raees" to avoid the big clash.
