Offers from various film industries are pouring in for Malayalam actress Keerthy Suresh. After the launch of her Telugu film "Rendu Jella Sita", the news is that the star kid is all set to make her Tamil debut.
The news of Keerthy's entry into Tamil and Telugu have made a buzz as Malayali audience are expecting her to be the next sensation in south like Nayanthara, Asin and Nazriya.
Reports are that the young talent is approached for a film opposite Vikram Prabhu, who is the grandson of Sivaji Ganeshan and son of actor Prabhu. The film, directed by Vijay is expected to begin by September.
Keerthy, daughter of Malayalam producer Suresh Kumar and celebrated actress Menaka will soon begin the shooting of her Telugu film "Rendu Jella Sita" opposite debutant Naveen, who is the son of veteran Telugu actor Naresh.
"Rendu Jella Sita" is the remake of 1983 Telugu film with the same name. The Ram Prasad directorial has been in the news for Naveen's presence. Apparently, the star kid was under rigorous dance training with the famous choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant.
The film was launched by superstar Mahesh Babu in Hyderabad on 7 August and is produced by Ahanti Addala under the banner of Friendly Movies.
Keerthy has recently wrapped up the shooting of her Malayalam film "Derboni", which stars Vijaya Raghavan's son Devadevan in the lead. The actress will be seen as a twelfth standard student from a village. The Gopi Kuttikol directorial is written by Binulal Unni and produced by T. K. Baburaj.
She made her debut in films as a child artist with the film "Pilots" in 2000 and later appeared in "Achaneyanenikkistham" (2001) and "Kuberan" (2002).
Recently, Keerthy made her debut as lead heroine in Priyadarshan's psychological thriller "Geethanjali" (2013), where she played a double role. The film was an unofficial sequal of the Malayalam blockbuster film "Manichithrathazhu" (1993) and the plot was loosely based on a book "Elephants Can Remember" written by Agatha Christie. The film, however, couldn't make a mark at the box office.
Meanwhile, the upcoming star's last release "Ring Master" (2014) opposite Dileep was a huge success.
