Just three days after a tragic accident that killed five schoolchildren in Kerala's Ernakulam district, 20 students sustained serious injuries when two buses collided in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
The accident took place around 8 am at Olarikkdavu, near Kattakada, in the capital city. According to reports, the injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals.
The victims are the students of Chinthalaya Vidyalayam, Kallikkadu and AKLM School, Therumoodu.
Earlier on 26 June, five children were killed after a tree fell on their school bus in Kothamangalam in Ernakulam.
