Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is all set to play the character of a police officer in filmmaker Nikhil Advani's thriller flick. The actor and the director are coming together again after "Katti Batti", alas not for a romantic-comedy.
Reportedly, while discussing the 2011 Hollywood thriller "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", Nikhil offered a script to Kangana. It was the script for a thriller and when the "Hero" director narrated it to Kangana, she immediately said yes, the Hindustan Times reported.
"There is very little that I think she can't do, and I'm hoping to challenge her with this role," Nikhil told HT.
The "Queen" actress is quite excited to work with the director again. The film will go on floors next year.
Currently, Kangana and "Katti Batti" actor Imran Khan are busy promoting their film. She is also shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's "Rangoon." The flick brings Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan on silver screen together.
