Ever since "Bigg Boss 9" concluded, one of the most popular contestants Yuvika Choudhary has been flooded with offers from the Television industry.
Yuvika was recently in news when reports of the actress being roped in to play the female lead in Ekta Kapoor's new show "Kasam" surfaced. But the deal didn't materialise, and the role went to Kratika Sengar Dheer.
However, the latest buzz is that Yuvika has been approached for Colors' "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," which is set to take a leap in coming months.
While the "Om Shanti Om" actress is still in talks with the makers, Yuvika will be seen romancing the actor who will play the role of grown-up Ashoka, if she ends up signing the dotted line. "Yes, I have been approached but nothing is confirmed yet," Yuvika told Telly Chakkar.
On the other hand, several actors like Rishabh Sinha, Sidharth Shukla, Gautam Rode were considered for the role of grown-up Ashoka. However, Mohit Raina of "Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev" fame has reportedly been finalised to take up the role.
Meanwhile, there were reports that the makers of "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" are keen on roping in a popular actor who will justify the role of warrior Ashoka.
"The production house and channel wanted to rope in a well known name as leaps are always a risk. Ashoka is one of the top rated shows on the channel and the young Ashoka, played by Siddharth Nigam, has quite a fan following," IANS quoted a source as saying.
