After making his Bollywood debut with the movie "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon," Kapil Sharma may soon be seen in Subhash Ghai's next movie. The renowned film-maker has expressed his desire to work with the stand-up comedian.
Kapil is back on the small screen with his new show titled "The Kapil Sharma Show." The comedian has a huge fan following, and his fans would certainly like to see Kapil in another movie. Subhash, who is known for making films like "Taal," "Pardes" and "Khalnayak," said he was willing to work with Kapil if he found a good script.
"Absolutely, if an artiste like Kapil works with any director, that film would be like bringing a fresh breeze along with it. We must have a good script. That is very important for both of us. Then we can think about it. Ultimately, everything depends on the script," IANS quoted the director as saying.
Kapil's debut movie "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" did well at the box office. The film's business at the domestic market was over Rs 50 crore, making it a hit as the movie's budget was quite low. Kapil is currently busy shooting episodes for "The Kapil Sharma Show." It had started on April 23, with Shah Rukh Khan as the special guest.
The show is aired every weekend at 9 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television. Although "The Kapil Sharma Show" received some negative reviews from critics, fans' response has mostly been positive. Kapil had recently said the show will not be a regular series as it would take a break after completing its 26th episode.
