Things are not going too well for some of the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstars as they have been battling some uncalled pain outside the ring. Getting stabbed was never in the WWE script, be it in the Attitude Era or the PG Era, but in real life, everything is possible.
It was Jamie Noble, seen recently as a security guard for Seth Rollins in the WWE, who was first assaulted and stabbed two times in the back by unidentified men. The incident took place last Wednesday at Shadowood mobile home park, West Virginia.
On Sunday, a similar incident took place and Alberto del Rio, who recently parted ways with the pro wrestling company, was stabbed. He was dining in a restaurant prior to catching his flight for a Lucha Underground event in New Mexico.
"Mr. Rodriguez ("Alberto El Patron") shortly after eating a meal before his flight, was assaulted by a criminal with a knife outside the restaurant," a post in the pro wrestler's instagram account, mentioned. "Mr. Rodriguez suffered multiple lacerations on his arm and other parts of his body defending against the criminal as police were called by witnesses.
"Mr. Rodriguez received medical attention and went back to the Police Department and was unable to make his flight."
Del Rio, who was in India in July this year for a WWE promotional event, also shared the graphic image of his injuries on social media.
