Katrina Kaif once said she likes to experiment with roles, and there's no denying that she has lived up to a major part of her promise.
After playing varied characters on screen, reports suggest she is set to star in Ahmed Khan's video. Although, the idea of the two coming together for work is in its nascent stage, there's plenty of thrill attached to it.
"There is a discussion but both Katrina and Ahmed Khan have still not finalised on anything concrete for the same. However, they are definitely going to work together. The two discussed about the music video during the shooting of the Phantom song and are now working towards shooting the album," Absolute India News quoted a source as saying.
The association, if it were to ever materialise, would be a successful one considering Ahmed's track record. Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor's "Dheere Dheere Se" song video is a massive hit on digital platforms and is being loved by the fans.
Shot in Antalya, Turkey, the video was filmed while braving scorching heat. Ahmed reportedly said 90% of the credit for the song's success goes to the actors as they never complained about the temperatures.
The choreographer has earlier got Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon to feature in two of his hit music videos – "Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main" (Sung by Atif Aslam) and "Chal Wahan Jaate Hain" (Arijit Singh) – both of which have turned out to be great hits on YouTube garnering millions of hits.
In other news, roping in stars for music videos, which are more or less like short films, isn't a new practice. Adnan Sami and Himesh Reshammiya have earlier got A-list actors to show their moves and act in their videos.
